Sam and Sylva Simonian Kindergarten
The Full Story
Kindergarten, which literally means "garden of children", is a preschool educational approach that traditionally emphasizes playing, singing, hands-on activities such as drawing, and social interaction.
It serves as a crucial bridge between home and school, marking a child’s first experience with formal education.
Since October 2024, our kindergarten proudly carries the name Sam and Sylva Simonian Kindergarten, in honor of the major benefactors of our school.

At our kindergarten, we implement a modern, holistic approach to education by incorporating the theory of multiple intelligences through learning centers in each classroom.
These centers are equipped with educational toys and materials designed to engage students in hands-on, experiential learning.
Children explore new concepts through a variety of activities using manipulatives that foster:

-
Self-awareness
-
Autonomy
-
Critical thinking
-
Creativity
-
And other essential developmental areas
.
We also use a balanced approach that combines both individual and group activities:

-
Independent work nurtures self-confidence and autonomy
-
Group activities help children develop key social skills like cooperation, empathy, and teamwork

Through these shared experiences, our students discover the joy of helping others and contributing to a supportive, engaging learning environment.
